Performance check
Well today was the day of my performace check, which is basicly a mock PCV exam, there where a few minor faults like braking a little sharpish, but apart from that the mock pcv was a PASS.
I just hope i can replicate today performance on the 7th :)

The Perfect day..
Well i got to work this morning and the kitchen was closed....great i thought i couldnt get my morning rounds of toast and a cuppa tea, so i had to settle with a cup of coffee from the machine instead.
My instructor came to find us (me and the other trainee) and after some bargining to get a bus, we finally got one, now you know when your learning something and it just clicks?.. well thats what happened to me today, i had 3 perfect drivers round various areas of Wolverhampton and surrounding areas, like Essington, Penkridge, and the M6 (first time on motorway in a bus)
All my roundabout work was perfect and i nailed every corner perfectly, i think if i was on test i would have had about 3-4 minor marks but thats it, my road postitioning was spot on as well.
I have my one-on-one tomorrow (thought it was today but it wasnt) so im hoping i can get another perfect run, ive asked my instructor if i could run the 529 and 535 routes tomorrow as i want to see if i can remember routes while driving and coping with traffic, as recently ive just been going where the instructor has been telling me to go, dont worry, there isnt any low birdges, haha im hoping i'll be in the Leyland Lynx tomorrow as ive got the hang of that bus now.
until tomorrow

First blog & status so far
Ok well i guess not lot of people will read this at the moment, but here goes.
Im hoping this blog will be a little home for me to place my thoughts about my new job at Travel West Midlands.
I offically started training on the 24th May and so i think im doing ok, yesterday i was perfecting my e-braking and reversing into a bay (via cones at Park Lane, Wolverhampton).
Today i was in the classroom learning about customer relations and also customer care, the course was ok, but talking to a few drivers who have been with the company a good few years, told me to take the training with a pinch of salt..
ive got my PCV exam on the 7th May and at the moment im bricking it as i dont want to fail, so if anyone has any comments or suggestions about passing the pcv exam then please get in touch
